Established in 2024, Young and Black is a youth-driven non-profit organization in the Greater Toronto Area. Our mission is to advance mental wellness among young and black professionals through initiatives focused on mental health awareness, youth empowerment, and career advancement. Y&B is run by youths and for youths, we create safe spaces for young professionals who are affected by mental health and career related issues and connect them to the right resources.

Our Approach
- We provide a culturally tailored approach in connecting professionals to counselors with same racial background.
- We identify barriers and provide access to customized resources ( Career & Entrepreneurship support).
- We provide access to Peer Support and Mentorship groups.
- We develop advocacy programs and promote mental wellbeing amongst young and black professionals.
